Your missions

Title: Data Engineer - DynamoDB/Hadoop Resource

Location: Jupiter FL or 100% Remote (EST hours)

Employment Type: 12 month contract to hire

Description:

We are looking for someone that can understand design and best structure when it comes down to the data pipeline build. Candidates must have prior experience and proficiency with Java as this will be used for the data pipeline. The ideal candidate would have experience importing sets of data into different sources as this person will be working on migrations from Hadoop and Greenplum into the enterprise data platform.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Experience with DynamoDB and Redshift
  • Experience with Java and Python
  • Experience with ETL pipeline engineering and architecture
  • Experience with EMR
  • Experience with Hadoop
  • Experience with AWS Glue

Preferred (not required) Qualifications:

  • Experience with Spark/PySpark
  • Experience with AWS S3 and/or AWS API Gateway
  • Experience with ETL pipeline engineering and architecture
  • Experience with data lake architecture
  • Experience with end-to-end data flow
  • Experience with Talend or Control-M
  • Experience with Amazon Managed Streaming Apache Kafka (MSK) or Athena
  • Experience with AMI Meter Data Management
  • Experience with DB2 / Mainframe
