JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Data Analyst II is responsible for the development and presentation of comprehensive operational reporting solutions as well as the preparation of analytics used in the business. Interacts with all levels of management, interviews business leads and present developments and findings to business users. Expected to partner with team leadership in leading small and medium sized projects as necessary.
*Position is 100% Remote, working EST hours
*Candidates must reside in the United States

Responsibilities
· Presents quantifiable data metrics and visualizations
· Leads strategic initiatives by analyzing outputs and trends of dashboards, data models, reports and data products for Envision Physician Services
· Leads small/medium sized operational improvement projects as necessary
· Analyzes existing reports and data to identify opportunities for improvement
· Works closely with end users to create value-adding analytical solutions
· Develops and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed. Provides thorough documentation of analytical assumptions and reporting processes
· Conducts routine data audits to ensure defined data quality standards are upheld
· Understands business operations, requirements and data flow identifying opportunities to present quantifiable data metrics as they relate to organizational goals and objectives
· Conceptualizes and present visualizations and stories from the data to make it easy for everyone to understand, trust, and make decisions with the results
· Solves key business challenges and support future strategic initiative by analyzing outputs and trends of dashboards, data models, reports and data products for the business.
· Works closely with business leaders and end users to create value-adding analytical models
· Responsible for adhering to Information Security Policies and ensuring Envision is as secure as possible
Other duties as assigned Qualifications
· Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college and 2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to navigate and conceptualize complex data structures
· Ability to understand and analyze user requirements as they relate to organizational goals and objectives
· Ability to work both independently and in team-oriented, collaborative environments • Project Management/Coordination experience preferred
· Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.
· Proficient level of technical reporting knowledge and business acumen.
· Strong critical thinking skills
· Effectively prioritizes and successfully executes projects in a high-demand environment
· Experience reporting out of relational databases, data warehouses and/or OLAP cubes
· Demonstrated analytical skills and experience with analytical tools, i.e. dashboards, Microsoft BI tools, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview, Microstrategy, Business Objects etc.
· MS Office Suite (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Sharepoint); must have expert level Excel knowledge, i.e. PowerQuery, data connections, VBA, v-lookups, charts, pivot tables, etc.
· Smartsheet experience a plus
· Experience creating queries using multiple table joins i.e. SQL
