Job Description
As an OBD and Emissions engineer you will be responsible for the development of the calibration and validation of the On Board Diagnostic and Emissions Control systems for different programs globally.
You will be part of a global team that share this role to deliver timely the tasks assigned. You will have to manage your time between data analysis and use of special test facilities such as emissions laboratories, environmental chambers, engine dynamometers, test tracks and others. Also you will have to interact with colleagues from all over the world focused mainly within the North America region. **

In a daily basis you will be able to contribute to the development of new technologies for emissions reduction systems, engine diagnostics and prognostics, also you will have the opportunity to innovate and design new software and/or hardware solutions for future and existing products. **
Qualifications**
Bachelor's in Mechatronics, Mechanical engineering or similar related careers.
Good understanding of internal combustion engines and thermodynamics.
Familiarity with the On Board Diagnostic system (OBD).
Basic understanding of statistics and data analysis tools.
Medium level Control Theory skills is a plus.
Coding skills (C type, Gi , Python & MATLAB), and preferably scripting/programing skills.
Previous experience in similar positions is a plus.
Must demonstrate English proficiency.
