Job Responsibilities

  • Support financial targets by working with appropriate staff within CDS as well as other departments/BUs to support project completion according to budgeted expectations.
  • Develops and manages measurement systems to track adoption and improvements to CDS BU financials and efficiencies based on process improvements.
  • Partners with business/functional unit management to ensure business strategies are driven by and aligned with corporate business needs and financial goals for growth.
  • Provides support to the Finance team and other CDS Business Units regarding project reviews.
  • Acts as an interface between own department and management as well as other departments/BUs and the Company offices. May represent CDS on corporate initiatives.
  • Promotes the identification and implementation of technological and process improvements across CDS to increase quality and efficiency.
  • Provides expertise for procedures and Quality Issue support. Coordinates with management and internal Corporate Quality Assurance to monitor and ultimately bring to resolution any open Quality Issues.
  • Proposes strategies for improvements to quality and compliance of Operations and services.
  • Develops and enhances processes and procedures to support the CDS Business Unit.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree with relevant experience or equivalent education or related experience.
  • Strong facilitation skills required.
  • Extensive project management experience, including development and maintenance of detailed project plans.
  • Strong ability to manage time and work independently.
  • Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH guidelines, regulatory requirements and drug development process. CRO (Contract Research Organization), pharmaceutical, biotech development, or health care industry strongly preferred.
  • Ability to embrace new technologies. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Highly effective verbal and written communication, presentation and analytical skills.
  • Good financial acumen with general business finance understanding.
  • Ability to travel as necessary (approximately 25%).

The annual base salary for this position ranges from USD $87,570- $145,967. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. **
