Our client is seeking a talented Ad Agency Copywriter to join their dynamic team in a fulltime position (hybrid in Richmond, VA or remote in select states).

Portfolio Note: Candidates must have proven experience as a copywriter in an advertising agency or similar environment, and a strong portfolio showcasing their exceptional writing skills and a range of creative projects across various mediums.

You Will: - Collaborate with creative teams to generate innovative ideas and translate them into persuasive, engaging copy across various advertising channels including print, digital, social media, and broadcast - Gain a deep understanding of client brands, products, and target audiences to effectively communicate key messages and align with brand voice and tone - Write clear, concise, and impactful copy that resonates with target demographics, adheres to brand guidelines, and drives desired actions or behaviors - Work closely with designers and art directors to integrate copy seamlessly with visual elements, ensuring a cohesive and compelling creative execution - Demonstrate versatility in adapting writing style and tone to suit different brands, campaigns, and communication channels while maintaining consistency and brand integrity - Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and cultural developments to inform creative strategies and maintain relevance in the rapidly evolving advertising landscape - Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions, offering creative input and suggestions to inspire new ideas and approaches - Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards under tight timelines and shifting priorities - Be open to receiving feedback on your work and provide constructive feedback to colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment

You Have: - Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, English, or related field - Proven experience as a copywriter in an advertising agency or similar environment - Exceptional writing skills with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects across various mediums - Proficiency in crafting copy for different platforms including print, digital, social media, and broadcast - Solid understanding of branding principles, advertising techniques, and consumer behavior - Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas and concepts - Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
