Real Estate Building Solutions and Standards is a global team in charge of the construction of new facilities or the extension/adaptation of existing ones at SGRE such us factories, offices or any other kind of building/outdoor area.                                                                                                                                               

For our finance team we are looking for a highly talented and motivated candidate for a Project Controller-Commercial Project Manager role opening on our team.                                                              

 The role will cover all financial aspect of the full lifecycle of a real estate construction project.

How to contribute to our vision 

As our Project Controller-Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities:

  • Development of real estate cost estimates and business case evaluations.
  • Be in charge of preparation and presentation of project budget to get approvals from Real Estate management.
  • Support Real Estate managament commercially in relevant decision forums internally (steering committees and other review meetings).
  • Financial controlling of real estate projects including budget, forecast and deviation analysis together with proposal of mitigation factors.
  • Manage clear communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Support PM on R&O calculations, measures for optimization of project cash flow and NCCs in the project.
  • Support PM and Procurement on the commercial aspects of contract negotiations, bonds, guarantees and project securities.
  • Interface with different internal stakeholders (i.e. finance, procurement, operations) and other external entities such us investment funds, financial institutions and real estate developers.

Additionally the role could be also involved in the following areas: 

  • Coordination and control of various transaction activities on global or regional scope.
  • Fosters business relationships with investors, developers, consultants, and landlords.
  • Supports internal stakeholders  with market data on real estate facilities and location assessments.
  • Travel around 10%

What you need to make a difference 

  • 5+ years of experience in finance, controlling or commercial project management/project controlling area 
  • (Experience of real estate and lease accounting issues a plus)."   
  • Successfully completed business degree (Masters degree a plus).
  • In-depth knowledge in the areas of controlling and project management (including identifying, evaluating, and assessing risks and opportunities).                                                                       
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in building business case evaluations.                                                 
  • Negotiation skills, assertiveness and sense of responsibility.        
  • Experience in negotiating with companies and subcontractors.   
  • Good knowledge of SAP, MS-Office.
