Business Development Manager - Energy

Up to £45k basic + company car + £18k commission

Home & Field based - Any UK location considered.

If you’ve built your career in field sales and you ideally have proven experience in the certification industry / Energy Sector, then we’d love to hear from you!

Due to the continued growth of our sales team, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our existing team covering the North of England. This is an exciting opportunity to follow a career path within a respected and reputable organisation. BSI take great pride in providing support and opportunities for all of our colleagues.

About the role:

You’ll work closely with our clients, understanding their needs and offering solutions as to how they can improve their business with the wide range of both products and services that BSI offer. This can range from ISO9001, ISO45001 to IT Security (ISO27001) or to Carbon Footprint (ISO14064).

You’ll also work closely and collaboratively with colleagues, delivering specialist product knowledge, design solutions, support quoting and the delivery on accounts including Key Accounts with new opportunities.

This position is based from home however, travel to attend meetings and client visits may be required in/around the North of England.

Essential requirements:

  • Proven experience in field sales

  • Background knowledge and understanding of the energy sector

  • Ability to influence and negotiate

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills

  • Full and valid driving licence
