Job description

The position provides daily support of our Human Resources and Financial systems using Ellucian's Banner product. The role provides Developer support in the design, build and testing of Oracle/APEX applications. The applications are built using the database technical and Banner Application administration functions. PL/SQL is the underlying language, and the data is generated by department personnel or retrieved from the Banner Oracle database tables. The support is local in terms of our role in supporting customized functionality built to support customer needs. These customized procedures execute outside of the baseline functionality of the Banner product. The Developer is required to understand these customizations and the technical configurations that apply to each.

REQUIREMENTS:

Strong experience with Ellucian Banner Finance and Human Resources applications
Strong experience using Ellucian ODS – Specifically Banner 9/ODS 9
Strong experience with Ellucian Banner custom features such as eProcurement, Intellicheck, and eInvoice
Proficient in use of SQL, PL/SQL
Experience developing/supporting APEX applications
Experience developing Oracle objects (Packages, Procedures, Functions, Table Views) in support of APEX developed applications
Knowledge and understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
Knowledge with Redhat Linux, Windows, Java, and JavaScript
