Essential Functions**

- Monitors all assigned client item add requests either via Salesforce.com or requests received via phone or email to ensure continuity of patient care within 24 business hours. Procures equipment, supplies, and services and negotiates fair pricing based on internal policies and procedures to ensure fair market pricing. Enters and tracks all assigned equipment or service requests via project management tool(s) and provides real-time updates for internal stakeholders and quality department.
- Tracks and solves Customer Quality Incidents, including short-term containments, identification of root-cause of issues, and ensuring long-term resolution plans in place to prevent reoccurrence.
- Weekend coverage is required on a rotating schedule with teammates to ensure adequate coverage and ability to serve our clients; including, reaching out to providers, patients serviced for real time needs, report that confirmation back to hospice team member, and the Client Services Consultant who manages the hospice account, to confirm the patients’ needs will be serviced.
- Monitors the Open Claims report and follows up with delinquent DME Providers to ensure Claims are adjudicated within the billing period.
- Monitors inerrant billing report to correct duplicate claims and equipment and corrects inerrant claims; follows up with Providers and provides training and support to reduce ongoing issues with system incompliance.
- Communicates equipment and service request status to all affected internal and external customers to ensure urgent patient care needs are met in a timely manner. Requests additional network management team support when/if any obstacles prevent timely processing OR could create a patient care issue.
- Other related departmental duties to be assign as needed.

- Evaluates active job policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation. Will submit new ideas to supervisor for implementation consideration.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Education, Licensure or Certification:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is preferred
Work Experience Or Related Experience
- A minimum of one year of procurement or customer service experience is required.
- A solid understanding of procurement functions is preferred.
- General business acumen required and usually obtained through work experience, education or training
- Durable medical equipment, pharmacy, managed care or other pertinent health care services industry experience is preferred
Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent customer service skills are required to perform the essential functions of the position
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Working knowledge of a PC, business, and communications software (MS Office) and web-based tools are required
- The ability to be proactive and self-directed utilizing good time management, decision-making, and organization skills is required.
- Incumbents must be able to prioritize multiple tasks
- Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast pace entrepreneurial environment

- Travel requirements for this position are minimal.

- Work is generally preformed in an office environment or remote setting in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions.
