Senior Accountant - Hybrid - Remote | WFH

We're seeking an adept accounting professional with a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in the field of accounting. Prior experience in the healthcare sector is strongly desired.

Position Details**

• Employment Type: Full Time, Direct Hire
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid Remote, allowing for 2 days of remote work per week

Responsibilities

• Meticulously review own work for precision and thoroughness.
• Oversee payroll processing and maintain meticulous records.
• Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes for our valued employees.
• Generate journal entries, conduct account reconciliations, and manage bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate fixed asset records.
• Contribute to business compliance reporting, including preparation of schedules for sales and business tax returns.
• Prepare schedules to support audit processes.
• Skillfully research and resolve basic accounting challenges.
• Execute additional month-end close activities and any other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• Proficiency in Full Cycle Accounting processes.
• Strong communication and organizational prowess.
• Experience in management or leadership roles is a definite plus.
• Sound knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and revenue accounting standards (ASC 606).
