We are currently in search of an experienced Engineering Team Leader with expertise in the Certification of equipment for use in Potentially Explosive Environments with a focus on non-electrical and mechanical protection concepts (Flameproof, Increase Safety) , to join our vibrant team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers in project execution.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations throughout certification projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
• Plan and design the technical aspects of projects.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to your team.
• Monitor and manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Essential

• Qualification gained through higher education in an Engineering, Management, Business Administration, or related subject
• Proven experience in an engineering leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of engineering principles and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in the application of the Ex standards and the relevant testing protocols, and in applying professional judgement on compliance and the significance of non-compliance
• ATEX / IECEx / UKEx knowledge

Desirable

• Experience in an engineering environment of drawing office practice, factory production and quality control methods or systems
• General engineering background
• Knowledge of how decisions impact business results, working with a diverse team and planning and thinking strategically.
• Demonstrates the ability to manage employee performance using performance expectations and goals, and responding to employee relations issues.
