IT Project Manager (SDLC) - Frankfort, KY

We are currently seeking a seasoned Project Manager who can provide functional and technical in-depth analysis in support of project scope and objectives and operational reporting. The candidate should be able to apply their analytical skills to support requirements, application deployments. The candidate will regularly work under deadlines, must be capable of handling extreme workloads and act independently with only general direction.

Note: this position will utilize the The Tiberius System, which was specifically developed for Operation Warp Speed and is a collaborative effort led by the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Defense to develop, manufacture and deliver safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines to Americans. The Federal Government requires anyone using this system must be a US Citizen ; therefore, only US Citizens will be considered for this position.

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Directing the work of others on the team.
• Review, validate, create dashboards numbers.
• Creating Adhoc reports using business intelligence tools like Business Objects, Tableau, SQL Queries etc.
• Analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Gathering requirements from the business users.
• Translating business requirements into specifications that can be used to build reports.
• Validate and test data produced on the reports with source systems.
• Provide technical assistance to users.
• Troubleshoot report issues.

• An IT strategist mindset, which can establish initiatives that fosters the development, implementation and maintenance of client IT structure in the area of data analytics.
• Logical thinking skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with ability to work with large, disparate data sets, performing data mining, validation and analysis to trend and interpret information.
• Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate data gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and appropriately communicate information to a diverse group: executives, managers, key internal and external stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
• Current working knowledge of SQL to write simple queries for data mining
• Demonstrated experience with database management and strong excel skillset to further manipulate data and create reports.
• Demonstrated ability to compose correspondence and reports. This includes the ability to interpret and tell the story of the data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group. Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.
• Be proficient Microsoft Excel
  1. Have experience with SQL and have worked with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Demonstrated experience working with HL7 data.
