Mortgage Loan Officer - Sales - Remote | WFH

Responsibilities

• Engage in exploratory questioning regarding prospective borrower's income and debts to match customer needs to a product in a call center environment
• Maintain knowledge of company products and pricing, including lock-in procedures and underwriting guidelines
• Educate prospective borrowers on the home buying and refinancing processes
• Ensure customer information is correct and verified in the loan package, with submissions being complete and accurate
• Ensure timely follow-up to customers, processors, and lender requests
• Meet monthly/quarterly funding goals as agreed upon
• Assist borrowers in understanding and clearing credit problems, along with setting expectations throughout the process
• Submit all files to the processor within 24 hours
• Comply with the Bank's BSA/AML and OFAC Compliance and Consumer Compliance policies and procedures relevant to responsibilities

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of sales experience or mortgage loan origination
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain competitive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as necessary
• Detail-oriented
• Team-oriented attitude
• Possess a strong desire to provide superior customer service
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
