As an Associate Finance Manager within our esteemed Accounting Policy Group, you'll embark on a rewarding journey within our Global Accounting Organization (GAO). Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with GAO and cross-functional teams to assess accounting implications of new initiatives and transactions, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Provide expert guidance on intricate accounting matters, serving as the go-to consultant for global inquiries and fostering collaboration across departments.
- Uphold global accounting and control standards while driving continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Stay abreast of regulatory updates and lead efforts to assess and implement changes within GAO.
- Contribute to finance, accounting, and controls educational programs in partnership with Finance Learning & Development and other stakeholders.
- Engage with internal and external partners, including Finance Leadership Team members, to ensure compliance with GAAP requirements and support quarterly SEC filings.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- CPA certification.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to achieving results.
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to process excellence.
- Proficiency in US GAAP with experience in codification research and documentation.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting.
- Experience with a Big Four public accounting firm.
- Previous involvement in the implementation of new accounting standards.
Additional Considerations
- Remote work arrangements may be considered with occasional travel as required.
