Job Summary

In this role, we are seeking an experienced customer-facing BA/BI candidate with 7-10 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Experience in Finance/Accounting or HRIS domain within healthcare would be a bonus. The candidates will be involved in day-to-day business discussions with key stakeholders and are expected to participate and manage daily project updates, collaborate with internal development team on new business initiatives, gather requirements, and will be involved in the technical development of project functionality, and respond to queries from users. The selected candidates should be able to turn around client ad hoc requests quickly, doing some of the hands-on query building themselves, and reach out to the dev team for ongoing business initiatives and for advanced questions. They should understand the business, industry, respective domains, and data well, and adapt quickly to the fast-paced environment. **

Core Responsibilities**

  • Gather detailed customer business requirements and translate them into functional requirements, use cases, workflow diagrams, wireframes, user stories and other forms of documentation as needed.
  • Facilitate communication between the business Stake holders and the Development/QA teams from initial requirements to final implementation.
  • Support QA/UAT processes including ability to create and review business test cases and assist users in testing.
  • Assist project managers and delivery teams in developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
  • Support delivery teams in sprint planning and prioritizing and reprioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Support the data integration team by being the voice of the customer and ensuring functional requirements are translated accordingly.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment requiring quick turnaround and quality output.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 plus years of experience in a customer-facing role in the Healthcare domain.
  • At least 4-5 full cycle implementation experience (SDLC) in BI / Analytics based projects in the Biopharma, Life Science, or Healthcare sector
  • Strong business analysis skills blended with hands-on technical experience in BI / Analytics based projects.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and other project management tools.
  • Technical skills needed are SQL, some BI tools, and the ability to learn our proprietary technology. Mastery over Microsoft suite of products. Familiarity with transaction processing applications such as Oracle/SAP.
  • Strong communication skills are required and are critical
  • Overall understanding of Pharma, Biotech or Healthcare business data
  • Prior experience closely working with customers and understanding the customer business

Nice To Have

  • Added advantage if experienced in Finance/Accounting or HRIS areas within healthcare.
  • Experience in working in an onsite-offshore model

_ _The annual base salary for this position ranges from $72,540 to $145,500. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
