The Opportunity**
We are seeking an enthusiastic Global Sales Director, Americas to join our team. In this role, you will be the bridge between our customers and the sales teams at hotels, collaborating closely to continue making our company a leading hospitality brand. **
Responsibilities**
Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize sales and profitability, focusing on association and citywide markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within the association market.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the association market.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of sales strategies.
Serve as a key liaison between the corporate office and local hotel leaders.
Foster relationships with city officials, convention bureaus, and other stakeholders.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market intelligence to inform sales strategies.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with association clients.
Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service to association clients.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows. **
Qualifications**
Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the hotel industry, preferably with a focus on associations.
Strong understanding of the DC, MD, and VA association / citywide markets.
Proven track record in sales, consistently exceeding targets and increasing revenue within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of contract processes.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work remotely and independently.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and demanding market, including off-peak hours and days as required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. **
