Your missions

Are you an experienced CeMAP Qualified Mortgage Advisor looking for a new home based role that offers a genuine opportunity to earn in excess of £55K+ and uniquely offers a 1st year guaranteed minimum salary of at least £40K and possibly higher depending on your previous experience and performance levels.

Please be aware that to be considered for this role you MUST be fully CeMAP qualified and have at least 12 Months experience providing mortgage advice.

The New Homes Group and our subsidiary GMC which is recognised as the UK'S leading new homes mortgage provider are looking to grow our mortgage adviser teams and we now have a number of outstanding opportunities for experienced Mortgage only or Mortgage & Protection Advisers who can start a new role in April 2024.

All our roles offer full time employed contracts working Monday to Friday and are home based plus we offer a guaranteed first year minimum salary of at least £40000.00. and potentially more if you over achieve.

GMC are currently experiencing unprecedented demand for our services from our lifetime membership customers whose mortgage deals are maturing this year, and we are therefore in need of a number of additional high performing and experienced mortgage advisers to join our existing mortgage teams of 90+ Advisers.

At GMC we believe we offer one of the best employed Mortgage Advisor roles in the UK, all of our Advisers are provided with fully qualified leads by our mortgage helpline teams, plus they receive full admin support giving them more time to sell.

We now have roles available for both experienced Mortgage and Protection Advisors and experienced Single tied Advisers that may or may not have previously sold protection insurance.

What We Offer!

  • Income Guarantee for Mortgage Advisors with previous Protection sales experience**: Receive a £45,000 minimum salary guarantee for the first 12 months. (Applies to Mortgage Brokers with at least 18 months Protection sales experience)
  • Income Guarantee for Mortgage Advisors with or without previous Protection sales experience**:
  • Receive a £40,000 minimum salary guarantee for the first 12 months. (Applies to single tied advisers who have no previously Protection sales experience)
  • Grow your earnings: All our Advisers are able to increase their earning year on year and we expect your OTE in year two to increase to £45K for Mortgage only Advisors and £55K for Mortgage & Protection.
  • Promotional Tiers: Subject to achieving your targets you can increase your basic salary and commission rate in year two and onwards* with top performers earning in excess of £60K+
  • Remote Working: Home Based, hybrid or office based. You choose!
  • Employed Role: All of our Mortgage Advisors have the security of full time, permanent employment.
  • No Weekends: Working Monday to Friday only, with a mix of early and late starts/finishes.
  • No Cold Calling or Self Generation: We guarantee we will never ask you to cold call as we provide all your pre-booked appointments which have an historical sign up rates of higher than 80%.
  • Admin Support: We provide full admin and case progression support leaving you more time to sell.

We are currently seeking a number of experienced Mortgage Advisors and we welcome applications from Advisors with either a broking background or from a single tied advising background and with or without previous protection sales experience to join our next induction starting in April 2024.

The successful candidate must be fully CeMAP qualified and have at least 1 years’ experience providing mortgage and or protection advice.

We provide all our Mortgage Advisors with all their pre-booked, quality appointments in their diary every single week, so you will never have to cold call or generate any of your own leads.

Uniquely, our appointments have sign up rates higher than 80% meaning our Mortgage Advisors are performing at the top end of the mortgage market and consistently writing in excess of 16-20 cases every month!

Role Requirements:

  • Highly confident in providing protection advice to compliment the mortgage and maximise case size
  • Have a minimum of 1 year mortgage and or protection experience with CAS.
  • Have a demonstrated track record of consistently achieving sales targets in the mortgage sector.
  • Work in a consistent and compliant manner to FCA standards.
  • Must be fully CeMAP qualified.
  • Living within a 3 hour commute of our Milton Keynes or Peterborough office and happy commuting once a month as required for team meetings and/or additional training requirements.
