Job Description
  • Mission/Purpose of Position: Responsible for the development, provision, implementation and support of QM Business Application.
  • Cooperation with other departments: Builds and maintains relationship to other divisional IT departments and Key User organizations in order to work corporately and seamlessly on joint strategies, concepts and solutions. Responsible as the IT Service Manager for the Quality team.
  • Application Provisioning: Is in charge of all application related topics and coordinates all infrastructure and other topics related to the application implementations. Ensures availability, performance and compliance of all IT Business Systems related to the Quality Management (Compliance Quest) at optimized cost.
  • Business Consulting: "Provide expertise and guidance to the business management and Key User teams on IT strategies and solutions that create competitive advantage to the business. As an IT partner, all topics in the area of responsibility are fully supported.
  • Policies and Standards: "Implements and refines IT best practices in the relevant areas (QM Applications): project management, portfolio management, service management Ensures provision and continuous improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of internal department processes. Is responsible for IT standards, assets and security controls according to Continental IT policies and procedures. Identify, develop and implement cost-effective measures to mitigate risk in IT operations.
  • Sourcing: "Evaluates and selects potential suppliers participates in and/or presides contract negotiations together with-It corporate purchasing based on Continental sourcing guidelines. Actively steers and controls external providers to ensure optimal world-wide service provisioning. "
Qualifications
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in information & communication technology or related field or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of IT or industry working experience and experience with SFDC applications like Compliance Quest or Quality applications
  • Certification in Project management and Salesforce development experience preferred.
  • Business-fluent English.
  • Analytical thinking as well as an independent and structured work style.
  • Strong communication and team player skills.
  • Openness to international business trips.
