Brief summary of duties: Establish, develop and grow business relationships at assigned accounts resulting in margin improvement and high customer satisfaction.
Areas of Responsibility:
Contact and meet with clients and turn these into increased business.
Identify potential new business opportunities and decision makers within the client organization.
Research and build relationships with new and existing large clients.
Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
Plan approaches and pitches. * Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
Participate in pricing the solution/service.
Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. * Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships and improve adoption.
Work with technical staff and other colleagues to meet customer needs.
Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
Management and Research
Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.
Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
Work with CSMO and sales support staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.
Ensure all team members represent the company in the best light.
Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
BA or BS degree
Five years proven track record in business sales or related market
Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analysis software
Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements
Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and concise manner

Work Environment:
Work is performed in a business office environment. Travel to company, customer and vendor sites, including some that are out of state will be required.
