Job Description
The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for the overall sales and profitability, as well as negotiations of custom contracts, account management, pricing strategy, contract amendments and renewals for the assigned IDN's/Collaboratives/Channel Partners/Buying Groups [Groups] under GPO's. The primary role of this position is managing at the headquarters level and delivering incremental new sales growth annually on a national basis in collaboration with business development, account management, and category team efforts; implementing and driving a successful sales strategy and ensuring the company meets revenue and profit objectives. Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining relationships with Groups' contracting, contract management, supply chain and field staff within the Groups they support.
