Your missions

Position Summary:

 

The Marketing Assistant will support the Senior Marketing Communications Manager. The individual will support in creating and promoting the company’s identity and mission to internal and external customers through the creation and distribution of communications, media, and advertising materials.  The role will ensure that all media presents a clear, unified image for the company; and that materials presented will align ASAPs business segments to create synergy for our Employer Services, Provider Network, and ASAP Learn Online.  The role will perform writing and editing services to produce effective, creative on-message strategic marketing communications for customers and prospective clients to contribute to increased growth and sales of ASAP products and services.   

 

Essential Functions:

  • Function as a Culture Leader for the organization, modelling the ASAP AIMs in your work and encouraging team members to do the same. 
  • Support the initiatives to innovate, create, and cultivate strategic marketing plans along with Sr. Marketing Communications Manager. 
  • Manage and support LMS platform and Learner needs on ASAP Learn Online.
  • Create and manage graphics.
  • Manage marketing campaigns through tools, such as, Constant Contact.
  • Manage and support ASAP employees that are attending conferences, exhibiting and speaking engagements. 
  • Manage booth, shipping, booth supplies, marketing collateral and swags for exhibits.
  • Assist in completing expense report functions supporting the marketing department and its budget.
  • RFP support; proposal writing and editing services to produce effective, creative and timely responses.
  • Writing skills supporting branding and SEO goals with supporting tools.
  • Assist with reporting and tracking of necessary data to support company growth.
  • Maintain ASAP website, landing pages, blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook and other external pages.
  • Understanding of services and products to help support communications and campaigning needs.
  • Vast comprehension and knowledge of different marketing software and platforms. 
  • Maintain regulatory updates and communications internally and externally. 
  • Monitor and report competitors advertising changes and techniques. Maintain knowledge of trends and developments and revises existing materials to keep them current regarding trends, branding, products and services.    

 

Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field or equivalent, preferred. 

Qualifications/Skills

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience with proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing communications materials.
  • Background in digital marketing strategy and platforms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mastery of basic design principles and tools. 
  • Detail oriented, organizational and time management skills to maintain and complete multiple priorities simultaneously, within designated deadlines. 
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills to identify and prioritize projects.
  • Ability to distil key elements to effectively communicate marketing goals. 
  • Ability to appropriately and cost effectively create and manage vendor relations for marketing communications. 
  • Able and willing to work in a fast-paced work environment. 
  • Proficient in Content Management Systems (especially WordPress and Drupal)

 

Work Environment

 

This position is a remote position that performs work from the assigned home location. The job requires dedicated and uninterrupted time identical to the conditions of working in an office environment. Occasionally the remote position located Geographically close to the corporate office may report to the corporate office to attend meetings or team functions, depending on the geographical location to the corporate office.  The content of information received and communicated contains confidential information, including PHI.  While performing the duties of this job, it is the responsibility of this position to make all efforts to secure the clients confidentiality and always protect clients PHI information.  The remote worker must abide by the Remote Work Policy.  

Physical Requirements:

  1. Be stationary for extended hours at a time, 7-8 hours of the workday. 
  2. Perform repetitive tasks with few breaks throughout the day. 
  3. Repetitive typing and communicating.
  4. Utilize desk phone/cell phone. 
  5. Occasional moving
