Job description

Proven experience as an Epicor System Administrator or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of Epicor ERP system architecture and functionality.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server).
Certification in Epicor administration is a plus.
Finance and accounting experience is a plus.
Production management/control experience is a plus.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Project Management: Manages priorities and scheduling of Epicor customizations. Works independently and as a team member (with other Developer) to both plan for, and build complex customizations, including (but not limited to) Dashboards, BPMs, and BAQs
Epicor System Maintenance: Manage and maintain the Epicor ERP system, including updates, patches, and system configurations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
User Support: Work with clients IT team of technical analysts and developers to provide technical support and assistance to end-users, addressing their inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth system operation.
Security and Access Control: Implement and manage user access controls, permissions, and security policies to safeguard sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
Integration and Data Management: Develop and manage data integrations between Epicor and other systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Be able to dig into transaction level data in order to understand and explain how certain numbers (especially financial) are derived.
Customization and Enhancements: Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for system improvements, customizations, and enhancements to meet evolving business requirements, with a focus on saving employee time and enhancing user experience.
Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance system speed and efficiency.
Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and training purposes.
Training: Provide training to end-users and other team members on Epicor system functionality and best practices.
Vendor Collaboration: Liaise with Epicor support and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues, implement updates, and stay current with system advancements. This may include Epicor consultants.
