Job description

The Sales Administrative Assistant must be a highly motivated individual who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed. This position is primarily responsible for providing administrative support to a team of Sales Managers. The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor, the ability to learn new computer programs, and can multi-task and complete projects promptly. This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills. Sales Administrative Assistant candidates should have the confidence and skill from prior work experience to work and communicate directly with both potential clients as well as internal colleagues.

Responsibilities:

Process orders via email or phone

Check data accuracy in orders and invoices

Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries

Maintain and update sales and customer records

Develop monthly sales reports

Ensure sales targets are met and report any deviations

Prepare, review and submit staff expense reports as a proxy on a monthly basis

Requirements and skills

Understanding of sales performance metrics

A team player with high level of dedication

Ability to work under strict deadlines

Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)

Generates, runs and formats reports/spreadsheets in Excel

Must be reliable, flexible and able to handle confidential information
