Trivium Group is an Amazon-focused advertising agency that drives results to its clients through data-driven decisions, strong systems, and most importantly, great people. Were looking for an extremely dedicated individual to join our team as a Video Editor. In this position, we are looking for a video editor for YouTube videos and short-form videos such as reels and shorts.

Responsibilities:

Meeting with the content team to determine the production vision
Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques
Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value
Trimming footage and putting together the rough project
Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects
Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence
Consulting with the content team throughout the project
Make high-quality thumbnails for every video you edit
Make reels/shorts out of YouTube videos
Editing videos for YouTube
Podcasts editingResponsibilities

Requirements:

- Experience as an YouTube video editor
- Demonstrable video editing skills with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency with at least 3 tools (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel - - Draw, Adobe After Effect, Final Cut etc.)
- A strong eye for visual composition
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to give and receive constructive criticism
- Understanding of marketing, production, graphic design, corporate identity, advertisements
- Knowledge of English: at least B2
- Working hours: 7am - 3pm PST

This will be a remotely administered FULL-TIME [40 hr/week] position with an immediate starting date upon hire. You will need to be able to accommodate different schedules and time zones. You will need a quiet workspace with fast internet, a webcam, and a microphone for video calls. This role is compensated on pure experience and skills, and you will receive considerable levels of autonomy and ownership over your projects.
