Role Description**
Responsible for overseeing the management of barriers that result in at-risk outcomes for people and providers with specialized needs. This includes assisting and overseeing the high-risk transition process, including the sex-offender and forensic process; managing the consumer referral database; providing training and support to providers, including residential, behavioral, and support coordination entities for both the transition process and other risk prevention efforts as they are built. This function will also assist in further development of risk prevention efforts and participate in statewide and area Tiered Supports trainings and meetings. Consultation and assistance will be remote when possible. However, training, meetings, and job duties may require travel at times. **
What You’ll Do**
- Lead and manage a team of 3-4 Risk Prevention Consultants to implement provider capacity-building interventions that identify and reduce risk of adverse outcomes for individuals with IDD
- Assist the Risk Prevention (Tier 2) Director in further development of Tier 2 supports and planning efforts, including policy development, intradepartmental collaboration, and outreach efforts
- Collect and analyze data from various assessment and Tier 2 intervention efforts
- Participate as a management team member, participating in the facilitation of regional office Behavior Team management meetings.

Typical Qualifications
Preferred: BCaBA or student pursuing behavior analysis credential with experience in multi-tiered systems of support or systemic Positive Behavior Support.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree and four years of professional experience in the areas of mental health, education, social services, or public administration, including experience with support coordination, working knowledge of Positive Behavior Support. A combination of education and experience may substitute for the stated qualifications. **
