Velocity Black are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team. We are looking for a highly ambitious individual with a passion for finance.


The role will require exceptional attention to detail, reliability, strong work ethic and team orientation. You will be able to play a key role in efforts to integrate with the Capital One finance structure, drive outcomes and have scope for growth. Moreover, there will be opportunities to build relationships with multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership of Velocity and Capital One.

What you'll do

  • Be an integral part of the team’s day-to-day operations, including but not limited to:

  • Cash reporting

  • Accounts payable management/ Accounts receivable management, liaising with the company’s different departments.

  • Assisting in the preparation of the monthly/ year-end financial accounts.

  • Play a key role in all aspects of the team’s integration pipeline with Capital One Finance.

  • Assisting in the preparation of the monthly/ year-end financial accounts.

  • Support key financial analysis for financial planning and strategy.

  • Support the team driving continual improvement of financial systems infrastructure.

  • Support the preparation and submission of VAT and other required tax returns.

We are looking for a passionate individual who has exceptional Excel, Google sheet skills and ability to manipulate large datasets. You should have experience of working in a high growth business and have the ability to work with senior stakeholders as well as strong analytical skills and attention to detail. You should also be process driven with a curious mindset to optimise processes.
