What You'll Do**

Edward Jones is looking for you to join our team as a Technical Architect and lead our cloud transformation efforts. You will be responsible for setting the enterprise-level technical direction in alignment with our strategic cloud roadmap for DevSecOps. By migrating our technology platforms to the cloud, you will assist in our cloud transformation goals of increased business agility, elastic scalability, enhanced security, and reduction in our support for on-premise commodity solutions.

As the Technical Architect, you will be responsible for working across all areas of Technology, and the Digital organization providing strategic leadership and tactical technology selection, operational processes for running core Digital systems in a cloud environment. In addition, this role will assist in establishing a cloud technology governance program, collaborating with stakeholders across Digital, Finance, and other business units.

Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of:

  • Review system security architecture and provide security hardening recommendations.
  • Work with cross functional teams continuing to enhance and secure pipeline infrastructure.
  • Ensure successful project or artifact delivery by developing and planning projects/tasks, and adhering to scheduling, budgetary, quality control, risk management, and regulatory obligations
  • Align and deliver security strategy for DevSecOps
  • Develop and maintain security vendor strategies, roadmaps, and alignment of vendor portfolios with product owners as part of the DevSecOps strategy
  • Set the technical direction in securing the developer pipelines and presenting security strategies to senior level leadership
  • Coordinate and communicate strategy direction and translate into business objectives.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:

Hiring Minimum: $109696

Hiring Maximum: $186781 **

Skills/Requirements**

What experience you need:

  • 10+ years' experience in cybersecurity with at least 5+ years' experience in securing public cloud environments.
  • Experience with the following :
    • Architecting Multi-cloud environments with subject matter expertise in securing Continuous Integration / Continuous deployment pipelines
    • Cloud networking architecture and cloud operations
    • Tools such as Git, Jenkins, JIRA, Chef, and infrastructure as code deployments
    • Working knowledge in network, storage, application development, Operating Systems, IAM (authentication/authorization), PAM, SSO, encryption standards, and contract negotiations
    • Security testing tools like network inspection, asset detection, SAST and DAST
    • GitHub, JIRA, Kubernetes.
    • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code languages such as Terraform.
    • Understanding of various regulatory requirements and laws, including but not limited to: Payment Card Industry (PCI), Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA).
    • Familiarity with security solutions such as Aqua Security, as well as tool such as Docker, Kubernetes and AWS CloudTrail.
