Your Impact:**

Pearce is seeking a well-qualified Key Account Manager – Wind Services. This key role will be responsible for managing key accounts within the Wind Services business unit while also developing new business and partnerships nationally, with a market focus on Utility Scale and OEM wind farm operators. The Key Account Manager will work closely with existing Pearce customers to increase our revenue and expand our service offerings with key accounts and key target companies. The Key Account Manager will also identify, qualify, and develop potential customers and partners, and work with those partners to enable our services and solutions to fit their needs. This person will work closely with Marketing, Operations, Engineering, and Senior Executive teams to ensure accurate and consistent messaging. S/he will combine solid hunter/sales skills, business acumen, leadership ability, technical knowledge, process management, and operational excellence to guide the growth of the business. **

Core Responsibilities:**

  • Managing and overseeing sales and business development aspects of this fast-growing business, which provides field services for utility scale and IPP Wind farm owner/operators.
  • Identify potential customers and partners: Project Owners/Developers, EPC’s, OEM’s, O&M Providers, and other revenue opportunities within the US wind industry.
  • Work with the Wind Services Leadership Team to negotiate final agreements including Contracts, MNDAs and MSA’s (Master Service Agreements with potential customers and partners)
  • Expand Pearce Renewables’ presence to drive new business opportunities nationally.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Engineering, and Senior Executive teams to identify potential customers and partners.
  • Represent Pearce at trade shows, conferences, and industry organizations.
  • Perform project assessments, build financial quotes, and prepare customer facing proposals.

Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience

  • 5+ years enterprise sales experience preferably within the Wind / Power Electronics industry in the commercial, institutional, and/or industrial markets.
  • 5+ years of field experience and/or leadership if no Degree.
  • Possess solid experience, contacts, and relationships within the Wind/Renewables industry.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, and/or another industry-related field required, BA, BS, MBA a plus.
  • Fluent in Excel, Salesforce (or other CRM), PPT, and financial analysis. Strong business acumen.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint.
  • Adaptable and flexible to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and changes in priorities.
