The Team
Our Energy Practice helps some of the largest global firms and most recognizable brands solve their biggest challenges in today’s age of constant disruption. With diverse services spanning strategy and digital innovation to supply chain optimisation, we help clients shape and achieve their growth agenda for a sustainable future.
The Role
Ø Provide consulting expertise and insight for the following areas
o Geographical Information Systems (GIS) for mapping and analyzing geological data
o Reservoir Simulation and Modeling Software to understand reservoir behavior, predict production rates, and optimize recovery methods.
o Seismic Processing and Interpretation Software for creating 3D subsurface geological models and identifying drilling locations.
o Well Logging and Analysis Tools to evaluate geological formations and inform well planning and development.
o Implementing Drilling Optimization Software to plan and execute efficient, safe, and cost-effective drilling operations.
o Production Data Management Systems to optimize production and reservoir management.
o Asset Management Systems for lifecycle management of subsurface assets, including maintenance scheduling and decommissioning activities.
o Employing Environmental Impact Assessment Tools to evaluate and mitigate the environmental impact of subsurface operations.
Ø Leverage Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning for predictive analytics in equipment maintenance, recovery rate optimization, and reservoir model accuracy.
Requirements
We are looking for a Senior Principal with Energy Industry knowledge and experience in:
Ø Extensive experience in GIS, reservoir simulation, seismic interpretation, well logging, and drilling optimization in the subsurface sector.
Ø Proven ability in data management, production data systems, asset management, and environmental impact assessment in subsurface operations.
Ø Expertise in utilizing advanced analytics and machine learning technologies for predictive analytics and model enhancement.
Ø Strong project management skills, strategic planning abilities, and a commitment to sustainable and responsible exploration practices.
Ø Ability to lead teams, foster innovation, and drive continuous improvement in subsurface exploration and development.
