The Team

Our Energy Practice helps some of the largest global firms and most recognizable brands solve their biggest challenges in today’s age of constant disruption. With diverse services spanning strategy and digital innovation to supply chain optimisation, we help clients shape and achieve their growth agenda for a sustainable future.

The Role

Ø Developing and implementing solutions for the complex challenges in the oil refining industry, with a focus on Process Control Systems (PCS), including Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).

Ø In-depth understanding of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for remote monitoring and control.

Ø Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency in refineries.

Ø Expertise in Asset Management Systems for maintenance scheduling and asset performance management.

Ø Knowledge of Safety and Environmental Management Systems to ensure regulatory compliance and manage environmental impacts.

Ø Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for managing refinery laboratory data and processes.

Ø Utilizing Advanced Analytics and Simulation Tools for process optimization and predictive maintenance.

Ø Implementing robust Cybersecurity Solutions to safeguard refinery operations.

Ø Employing Collaboration and Communication Tools for effective internal communication and coordination.

Ø Leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) and sensors for enhanced process control and data collection.

Requirements

About You

We are looking for a Principal with Energy Industry knowledge and experience in:

Ø 10+ Years’ Experience in technology transformation and consulting in the oil refining sector.

Ø Specialization in oil refining technologies, including PCS, SCADA, ERP, Asset Management, and Safety and Environmental Management Systems.

Ø Expertise in LIMS, Advanced Analytics, Cybersecurity, Communication Tools, and IoT applications in the oil refining context.

Ø Proven ability to lead strategic and operational transformations leveraging these technologies.

Ø Capability to develop IP and Market Offerings tailored to the oil refining sector's technological needs.

Ø Strong relationship-building skills with key stakeholders in the energy industry.

Ø Extensive knowledge in IT Strategy and best practices relevant to oil refining technologies.
