General Summary:**
The Specialty Coatings business (Plastisol) has an immediate opportunity for Account Manager residing in Upper Midwest Region, .
This is a tremendous opportunity that will enable an individual to have immediate impact expanding revenue by growing relationships with an existing base of specialty customers and future impact by successfully prospecting and developing new customers. This position is responsible for growing revenue and profitability in a geographically expansive territory. It is critical this individual takes initiative and demonstrates the ability to manage multiple opportunities to stay focused and drive sales growth in the region.
Other key skills include the ability to sell value at all levels of management and building relationships that ensure Avient will continue to get first and last look at every business opportunity where Avient’s offering is a fit. Ability to function independently, being skilled at customer centric selling approaches, leading internal associates in their efforts to satisfy customer expectations and effectively selling the value of our products and services are also keys to success.
Accountability will center on margin, revenue, and relationship management/expansion but will include prospecting, forecasting, achievement of sales objectives and directing activities across functional groups in support of account goals. **

Education And Experience:**
Minimum of 10 years of sales experience with 3 years of plastics industry experience.
Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline or demonstrated experience in relationship and value selling. **
Additional Qualifications:**
- Experience and background in dip molding, rotational molding or plastisol strongly preferred
- Strong selling skills supported by documented sales success
- Experience with SalesForce.com preferred.
- Availability to travel up to 50% (mostly in the WI, IL, OH, IN, MI territory)
