About the role: 

As our UK Field Sales Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers in the UK. This unique position is split between three key areas: sales, technical operations and  inventory management. You will be responsible for building customer relationships, generating sales, and ensuring that clients have the support they need in the field.  

Additionally, you’ll be on farm installing, fixing and trouble-shooting any issues for new and existing customers, with some inventory management tasks to ensure the smooth operation of stock, product quality and availability.


Day to day in the role, you will, split your time between 3 key areas: 

Sales 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. 
  • Understand client needs and present appropriate solutions and products. 
  • Achieve sales targets through effective prospecting, demonstrations, and negotiations. 
  • Strategize on customer acquisition and retention through a combination of new business, cross and up-selling. 
  • Provide ongoing product education and support to clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. 
  • Execute processes to enhance communication, streamline workflows and drive revenue growth.  
  • Ensure open communication and alignment on goals and initiatives for sales and marketing. 


Technical Operations

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot technical equipment at customer locations. 
  • Train customers on product usage and ensure smooth handover after installations. 
  • Stay updated with the latest technological developments to provide top-tier support. 


Inventory Management 

  • Find suitable location for storage, and coordinate with the production team in Ireland and New Zealand to order and receive new stock. 
  • Track and manage inventory to ensure adequate stock levels for installations and sales, including tracking returns and defective items. 
  • Assist with the analysis and quality checks required for refurbished stock. 


You will have: 

  • Proven experience and track record in a sole-charge or remote sales environment.
  • Technical background or experience as a field technician - installation, configuration, troubleshooting. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills to educate and problem solve for our customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively and autonomously. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude. 
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to customer sites. 
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices and tools is an advantage. 
  • An understanding of the agri-industry is desirable.
  • A full, clean UK driving license.
