Overview

Associate Content Developer

As we grow and expand our International Higher Education team, we have an opportunity for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Associate Content Developer . How can you make an impact?**

In this dual-function role, you will work closely with Portfolio Managers to support all aspects of the editorial process. As our new Associate Content Developer, you will research and commission new content and digital products. As well as managing contracted project schedules through the development, production, and publication process. **

A typical day might include:**

  • Working closely with key stakeholders – internal teams and external customers - to implement the vision, strategy, and growth of our print and digital product portfolios.
  • Being the first point of contact for our authors throughout the development process of their titles and ensure a positive author experience.
  • Driving prevalence with ongoing content curation and acquisition to meet market needs, and in alignment with our regional objectives and roadmaps.
  • Undertaking competitive analysis of competing markets and products to inform product development direction and strategy.
  • Understanding the learning capabilities of our platforms and products.
  • Analysing data from multiple sources to determine the best approaches to content development.

What can you bring to the role?

  • A Bachelor's degree for first-hand understanding of higher education learning needs.
  • Project and author management experience.
  • An understanding of the learning science, publishing, or education industries.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Great orgnisational skills and the ability to manage a complex workload and conflicting priorities.
  • A passion for technology-enabled learning and the desire to be part of the digital transformation within educational publishing.
