Senior SAP Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for gathering detailed requirements to implement these solutions, taking into consideration future goals of the Commercial Operations, Finance, Operations functions and the overall IT strategy and IT mission.
• Working closely with (key-) users, process owners and Functional management (Commercial Operations, Finance, Operations) to understand, clarify, and fulfil EDI function requirements and improve business processes.
• As many implementations and changes to existing processes are managed as projects, the Senior SAP EDI System IT Expert will be expected to support projects and work with external vendors.

Must have:

• Strong knowledge on SAP EDI and SAP SD. message types/formats: DELINS, DELORD, DELJIT (JITCALLS), DESADV, EDIFACT, ORDERS, VDA, ANSI X12, RND.
• Can work with customer labels requirements which are part of full new customer setup, daily business support, changes requirements.
• Communicates clearly and concisely both verbal and written.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with business users on all levels.
• Can communicate and coordinate between IT, business areas, OEM customers.
• Has strong analytical skills to be able to quickly identify underlying problems and design solutions to these problems.
• Is able to clearly explain and present solutions to users and management and get their buy-in/approval.
• Can facilitate change and persuade users and management.
• Can switch from high-level to hands-on when necessary.
• Can work independently, set the right priorities and is a self-starter.
• Is flexible of mind and willing to continuously learn requirements of other functional areas.
• Is aware of the legal requirements and corporate guidelines with respect to system validation.
