Essential Function Review, monitor and analyze inventory valuation across US and Canada, while maintaining inventory transactional information for completeness and accuracy. Analyze and report on damages and allowances at sku and location level. Prepare monthly financial management reports. __ __ Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field - 1-3 years of accounting or finance experience - Previous experience in month-end close processes - Sarbanes Oxley compliance experience desired - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel) - Oracle, JDA and/or SQL developer would be a plus - Some travel may be required

Primary Duties30% Performs various account reconciliations in order to interpret and report the effects of established financial plans.

25% Prepares, examines, and analyzes accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

20% Develops, maintains, and analyzes data, to be used in management reporting.

15% Establish and assigns entries to proper accounts in the General Ledger.

10% Develops, implements, modifies, and documents recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.

Competencies / Attributes - Excellent analytical and communication skills - Ability to prepare and process journal entries

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements: - The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. - The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
