Job Summary**
The Proposal Manager will work collaboratively with the marketing and business development team, market leaders, and organizational leadership to create compelling, compliant, and well-written submissions. The Proposal Manager is responsible for leading the proposal process to include the creation, organization, development, and production of proposals, presentations, and other formally requested customer information. This role also involves researching, CRM/database updating, and supporting other marketing department team members. The Proposal Manager should exhibit strong writing skills, organization skills, a good eye for graphic design and an appreciation for the built environment. The Proposal Manager should be able to balance multiple, rapid tasks and deadlines. **
In This Role, You Will**
- Coordinate the production of marketing department submittals with the marketing and business development team across multiple markets.
- Maintain RFQ/RFP calendar to create transparency through marketing department and leadership.
- Analyze RFPs, coordinate proposal kickoff meetings, and prepare detailed proposal plans, schedules, outlines, and metrics for all phases pf proposal development.
- Monitor proposal content to ensure compliance to RFP requirements, evaluation criteria, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with internal subject matter experts to establish project-specific content for positioning the firm’s proposal to client’s needs.
- Liaise with partnering firms to ensure that all materials are integrated for joint pursuits.
- Maintain marketing libraries of proposal-related information including write-ups, marketing literature, and resumes.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, standards, and practices with national marketing teams.
You Will Be a Great Fit If
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferred in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- You have 5+ years of experience, ideally in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry.
- You have prime proposal writing experience, especially for federal opportunities including SF330 qualifications packages.
Skills/abilities
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite.
- CRM and database experience.
- Ability to deliver high quality, accurate work with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication, editing, and grammar skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to successfully balance multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Location: Bethesda, MD **
Travel: Limited travel to conferences on short trips (typically 1-2 days)
