Conduct legal research on labor and employment law issues
Draft memos, pleadings, and other legal documents
Manage and support attorneys in all phases of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation
Assist with employment law compliance and risk management
Advise clients on employment law matters and provide legal guidance
Conduct client communication and maintain relationships
Participate in marketing and business development activities
Requirements
Admission to practice law in California
3+ years of experience in employment litigation as well as transactional and advisory work in the labor and employment context.
Experience with drafting policies, employee handbooks, employment contracts, union negotiations, DFEH, EEOC and OSHA regulations, compliance and investigations, and providing sexual harassment avoidance trainings and advice.
