Professional Fee Hospital Coder - Psych (PT)

Responsibilities

This position will provide high quality ICD-10, E/M, and procedure coding. Proficiency in profee inpatient E/M and bedside procedures for internal medicine and pulmonary.

Qualifications

• This is a W2 position for a long-term project
• Current CPC, CCS, or equivalent through AAPC or AHIMA is required
• Must have at least 3 years of active E/M inpatient coding experience.
• Coder will be coding E/M visits with bedside procedures and ICD-10 codes
• Coder will be coding surgeries and ICD-10 codes
• Must be able to maintain a 95% accuracy rate
• Hybrid payscale based on production
• US-Based Candidates Only

Hours are 20/week and can be flexible.

• Pay is production based so it ls $10/hr base pay+ $0.64 per CPT code so coders should average $25/hr+ at the minimum expected production but there is no cap to what can be earned.
