Senior Accountant

Elevate and Delegate is a company dedicated to helping talented Filipino individuals to land work from home jobs. We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting, including financial reporting and tax compliance. In this role, you will work closely with the team to ensure that the company's finances are well-managed and that our employees are paid on time. Responsibilities

• Transaction Management: Manage various financial transactions, including chargebacks, returned checks, and splitting transactions. Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely in the system.
• Reconciliation: Oversee the reconciliation of cash receipts, and other financial data on a regular basis to ensure accuracy. Handle discrepancies or irregularities efficiently.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare important notes for management, draft accounts receivable (AR) emails, and finalize weekly sales business reports. Ensure that financial information is presented clearly, accurately, and on time.
• Accounts Payable (AP) Management: Oversee and manage AP processes. This includes reviewing AP items, approving invoices, and ensuring accurate payments and records. Not data entry.
• Journal Entries: Prepare and post various journal entries related to sales, costs of goods sold (COGS), franchise fees, payroll, inventory, property taxes, accounts receivable, prepayments, and other financial data.
• Review: Regularly review bank accounts, and general ledger (GL)for accuracy and completeness.
• Other ad-hoc and recurring activity.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Experience in tax compliance and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of accounting software such as Quickbooks, Xero or similar software.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: $1000 - $1400 USD/month
