DXC Virtual First Environment

This opportunity I am sharing with you entails a Virtual-First work setup, which means employees would spend most of their time at home but also schedule visits as needed to a “DXC office” for in-person work with teammates.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead our customers and colleagues through the technical architecture, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, and ongoing support of Oracle JD Edwards Technical – Development, Integration and Data Conversion solutions
• Assist with presales activities and provide support in the preparation of implementation estimates, POC, proposals and statements of work
• Facilitate presentations, demonstrations, and design workshops with prospective and existing JD Edwards customers
• Work closely with all facets of the DXC business including delivery, project management, support, and sales to constantly strive for superior outcomes for our customers

Key Skills Required

To be successful in this position you will possess many of the following attributes:

• Excellent understanding of Oracle JD Edwards Architecture and new features
• Expert in JD Edwards toolset

• • Orchestrations
  • Extensions
  • FDA, RDA, BSFN, NER
  • BSSV
  • BI Publisher
  • EDI
  • ER Debugger

• Exposure to OIC would be considered favourably

• Exposure to Oracle SaaS application – ERP, SCM or HCM would be considered favourably
• Must have implementation experience on client-facing role
• Excellent requirements gathering skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create excellent professional documents
• Ability to lead customer design/demo workshops as part of pre-sales
• Ability to help customers formulate or improve their JD Edwards strategy and roadmap
• Ability to engage with multiple projects & customers at the same time and manage competing priorities
• Excellent organization, communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to provide implementation scoping and solution guidance
• Ability to work as part of a project team
• Ability to lead small teams in large projects
• Ability to work independently
• Demonstrate initiative by identifying inefficiencies and able to recommend improvements
• Process-focused, with keen attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree or post graduate coursework an asset
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and a relationship builder by nature who develops real and long-lasting relationships with clients
