Job Description:

The position works closely with Business users capturing requirements: including process opportunities, needs for new or enhanced capabilities, training and reporting needs.

This role acts as a liaison between the business users and IT team. This position uses knowledge of business applications and processes to develop and recommend appropriate configurations, reporting, simplification of Finance and responsible for generating high level and detailed documentation, including process flow charts, detailed application functional and technical requirements, test scripts, training materials and end user documentation. Working closely with other IT staff and entity stakeholders, this role must understand both the overall business objectives and the day-to-day business processes and design options to meet these needs.

· Supports all Microsoft Dynamics 365/AX issues and queries

· Investigate the current issue and find the root cause

· Provides resolution to issues or escalate to next level of support if necessary

· Coordinate with the relevant teams to resolve the ticket and provides update to the stakeholders on the progress and the next steps

· Tracks issues and actions taken to resolve the ticket

· Provides alternative solutions on issues that are under investigation

· Conducts business requirements gathering and provides inputs on process improvements

· Performs functional testing and assist users on testing of new software releases

· Liaises with the technical team to fix the root cause of the issue permanent solutions

· Able to assess the overall impact and risk of the configuration changes

· Work with third parties when needed to provide solutions to client

· Other ad-hoc tasks


For Technical

Job Description:

The position requires candidates to plan and carry out application architecture and software development activities, to troubleshoot problematic software and to provide technical support to our customers. Development and maintenance of existing and new modules/reports within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (FinOps).

· Development according to the DXC Coding Guidelines

· Undertake application and database performance optimisation tasks.

· Provide detailed analysis of Service Desk items allocated.

· Support, including first level follow-up of identified issues.

· Maintain good communication channels with clients to ensure availability and integrity of their systems.

· If required, provide technical support to client end users.

Qualifications

For Functional:

Qualifications & Experience:

· Degree in Business or Finance or Information Technology

· At least 3 years of experience working with MS Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

· At least 2+ years of experience and expertise in any of the following modules and business processes: Retail, Finance, Distribution and Trade, Warehousing, Production

· Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills

· Business process, transaction flows and best practices familiarity

· Excellent customer service skills

· Ability to understand, communicate, interpret client business processes and requirements

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability/Experience to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision

· Experience and / or ability to document business processes

· Experience in working with global teams. Ability to work with different cultures and nationalities

· Previous Dynamics AX version certifications is a preference

· Knowledge in other ERP systems and processes is a plus

For Technical

· At least 3+ years of development experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (FinOps) and x++.

· Experience specifically with D365 (FinOps), AX2012, AX2009, SSRS etc.

· Understanding of the Visual Studio development environment.

· Understanding of Azure DevOps.

· Understanding of LCS.

· Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

· Development experience with .Net.

· Functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (FinOps).

· Liaise closely with the development and consulting team to ensure high-quality, professional and team-focused software development is conducted at all times.

· Development of reports, modifications and modules in Microsoft Dynamics AX.

· Development in X++, .Net, SSRS and others that we agree.

· Development of mobility solutions that will be available via the current main mobility platforms Windows mobile, Apple and Android.

· Migrating of code changes to other environments (e.g. promotion of code changes from various environments).

· High level testing of software developments.

· Keeping abreast of key functionalities of Dynamics 365 from technical and functional perspective.

· Deployment of D365 via LCS.

· To use Best practice in coding at all times.

· To provide guidance to Junior members of the team.

· To challenge design and advocate generic design.

· To liaise with consultants with regards to functional specifications on a case by case basis.

· To provide from time to time estimates of development effort.

· To suggest and improve daily activities.

· Provide release notes and necessary changes to design for customer and consultant to

· Responsible for providing analysis and follow-up of Applications Support Service Desk items to ensure problems and bottlenecks are report to Manager Applications Support.

Additional Information

On-call after-hours application support may be required from time to time, especially where a client go live has been scheduled.
