Job Description

Job Description:

The position works closely with Business users capturing requirements: including process opportunities, needs for new or enhanced capabilities, training and reporting needs.

This role acts as a liaison between the business users and IT team. This position uses knowledge of business applications and processes to develop and recommend appropriate configurations, reporting, simplification of Finance and responsible for generating high level and detailed documentation, including process flow charts, detailed application functional and technical requirements, test scripts, training materials and end user documentation. Working closely with other IT staff and entity stakeholders, this role must understand both the overall business objectives and the day-to-day business processes and design options to meet these needs

Responsibilities

· Supports all Microsoft Dynamics 365/AX issues and queries

· Investigate the current issue and find the root cause

· Provides resolution to issues or escalate to next level of support if necessary

· Coordinate with the relevant teams to resolve the ticket and provides update to the stakeholders on the progress and the next steps

· Tracks issues and actions taken to resolve the ticket

· Provides alternative solutions on issues that are under investigation

· Conducts business requirements gathering and provides inputs on process improvements

· Performs functional testing and assist users on testing of new software releases

· Liaises with the technical team to fix the root cause of the issue permanent solutions

· Able to assess the overall impact and risk of the configuration changes

· Work with third parties when needed to provide solutions to client

· Other ad-hoc tasks

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

· Degree in Business or Finance or Information Technology

· At least 3 years of experience working with MS Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

· At least 2+ years of experience and expertise in any of the following modules and business processes: Retail, Finance, Distribution and Trade, Warehousing, Production

· Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills

· Business process, transaction flows and best practices familiarity

· Excellent customer service skills

· Ability to understand, communicate, interpret client business processes and requirements

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability/Experience to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision

· Experience and / or ability to document business processes

· Experience in working with global teams. Ability to work with different cultures and nationalities

· Previous Dynamics AX version certifications is a preference

· Knowledge in other ERP systems and processes is a plus

Additional Information

Candidates good in Math are preferred.
