This is a remote position open to any qualified applicant in the United States.

Role:

Cognizant seeks to hire Product Consultant - Technical to join us.

Job Location: Remote

Roles And Responsibilities:

• Understanding business requirement and come up with solution design that is in alignment with product architecture.

• Develop, test and Mentor team to do extensions in EIS domain.

• Solving technical issues development team may face during development. Building prototypes and working code using the tools and technologies product uses. Making sure all codes are unit tested properly and code compliant with sonar standards.

• Liaise with other teams including infrastructure team, product vendor, customers and other teams interacting with the product to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner and dependencies are addressed within the implementation timeline.

• Resolve customer modification conflicting with base product.

• Troubleshooting and debugging issues in different environments.

• Impact analysis of any upstream and downstream system undergoing changes

Required Qualifications:

• EIS Exigen

• Experience in Java 8 and above. Spring 5

• Experience in Hibernate 5, JPA 2. Experience in Apache Camel, Apache CXF, Experience in swagger.

• Experience in XML, REST/ SOAP Web service

• Preferably Knowledge of EIP (camel), maven, Jenkins, knowledge of liquibase is a plus

• 8-10 years of experience in system implementation including design and development

Work Authorization

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
