TÜV SÜD GRC, a global leader in property loss control, has an immediate opening for a Senior Loss Prevention Consultant, based in South America in a remote position.

TÜV SÜD Global Risk Consultants (GRC) is the leading unbundled property loss control provider worldwide, offering a complete portfolio of services including Fire Protection Engineering, Boiler & Machinery Engineering, Infrared Thermographic Surveys, Jurisdictional Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspections, Natural Hazards Analysis, Diversified Services, and Loss Control Training. For over 60 years, GRC has gone beyond the parameters of traditional property loss control services and continuously strives to provide our clients with solutions to help achieve and maintain a highly protected status.

Position Summary:

- Loss Prevention Consultant for South America District.

- Conducting Fire Loss prevention surveys in the region (from Guatemala to Argentina).

- Providing project review and consulting services.

- +50% travel.

Specific Required professional skills:

- Fully Proficient in Spanish, Portuguese, and English (written/spoken).

- Previous proven experience in loss prevention consulting (fire and associated perils).

- Previous experience in surveying Power Generation Facilities, Pulp and Paper industry, Food and beverage industry (either AND or OR).

- Capacity of developing Loss Scenarios and loss expectancies for fire and explosion risks.

- Previous experience with fire protection project reviews.

- Knowledge/capable of using of NFPA and FM Global standards.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (user level) products: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Teams.

- Engineering degree

Desirable (not limitative) additional Professional skills:

- Desirable previous and interest on Account Engineering (no immediate responsibility on this), preferably for international/regional clients.

- Desirable previous experience in Mining industry.

- Desirable previous with general risks.

- Eng. Degree preferred in: Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Production, Industrial

Personal Skills:

- Organized.

- Good planning skills.

- Good interpersonal skills.

- Capable of working and being productive with Supervision per Objectives.

- Standalone.

- Autodidact to some level (capable of investigating and learning through it).

- Capable of working as part of a team.

- Willing to travel.
