Maximus is currently hiring Customer Service Representatives (Remote) to join our team. This role will answer incoming calls from consumers to include the general public, prospective enrollees, people assisting enrollees or acting on their behalf in accordance with all performance standards.

Job Description Summary:

This is a remote position open only to Vermont residents . Selected candidates will need to provide their own devices for work. The minimum device requirements are:

  • PC or Laptop running Windows, Mac, or Linux
  • Windows 10 or higher, Mac with MacOS 10.14 or higher, Linux with Ubuntu 18.04 or higher
  • Processor: Minimum of Intel Core i5 or equivalent
  • PC Memory: 4 GB RAM required, 8 GB RAM preferred
  • Hard Drive: 64 GB required; 128+ GB
  • Minimum of 1 GB free space on Hard Drive
  • Internet speed: Minimum of 20 Mbps download speed and 5 Mbps required. Must provide attestation of speed at time of phone screen
  • Headset required: USB Gen 2 connect plug and play headset supported by OS for bidirectional voice and video. Must be wired with no Bluetooth. No air pods or wireless gaming headsets are permitted.

  • Answer incoming calls from consumers including the general public, prospective enrollees and people assisting enrollees or acting on their behalf in accordance with all performance standards, policy and procedures, and protocols including but not limited to the confidentiality and privacy policies.
  • Track and document all inquiries using the applicable systems.
  • Complete associated tasks according to the established guidelines.
  • Track and document all inquiries using the applicable systems.
  • Meet Quality Assurance (QA) and other key performance metrics.
  • Facilitate the fulfillment of caller requests for materials via mail, email, or download.
  • Transfer/refer consumers to appropriate entities according to the established guidelines.
  • Escalate calls or issues to the appropriate designated staff for resolution as needed.
  • Facilitate translation services for non-English speaking callers according to procedures.
  • Attend meetings and trainings as requested and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all programs and systems.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent with 0 - 1 years of experience.
