Lead React.js Developer

Description

We are looking for a Lead React.js Developer to join our team in Hungary. **

Responsibilities**

• Implement user interfaces for different applications based on pre-prepared design specifications
• Work with other project team members (UI designers, developers, system, and testing engineers) throughout the product development, testing, and implementation phases to ensure user interface integrity
• Work with customers (project management, content editors) to implement the envisioned functionality
• Provide estimates for how much time it will take to complete the defined layout/development tasks
• Leading engineering team and liaise with business stakeholders
• Document the implementation and work products
• Observe the quality rules during the project, supply the QA Leader with upcoming ideas
• Fulfill requirements/responsibilities according to the Quality Management System
• Help identify, escalate, resolve any technical issues and problems that might occur
• Mentor other developers and collaborate with peers
• Lead SCRUM team and technical meetings

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• The role demands skills in Agile team organization and delivery, database, and coding skills plus the ability to maintain an ongoing discussion with the stakeholders and partners
• Expert knowledge and experience in React.js and Redux
• Expert knowledge and experience in JavaScript / CSS / HTML 5 web layout design and implementation
• Expert knowledge and experience in TDD, Unit testing and performance testing
• Expert knowledge of programming paradigms (OOP and Functional Programming)
• Experience in software development projects in cooperation with different development teams
• Experience in building cross-browser user interfaces and solid understanding of cross-platform browser compatibility issues
• The ideal candidate should have a broad understanding of various coding methodologies, testing practices, and tools and know when to apply each method to achieve the desired outcomes
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English

Nice to have

• Experience with technical or team leadership is a huge advantage
• Willingness to work as a full-stack developer with Node.js
• Experience in Cloud technologies (Azure, GCP, AWS)
• Having experience with other front-end frameworks or tools (Angular, Vue)
• Knowledge of any database (SQL, NoSQL)
• Having experience in Accessibility, UI design and UX
