We’re looking for a Supervisor to join our Highways team based in Ipswich, Suffolk. Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

Contract: Permanent, Full time

Salary: Competitive + Pension + Benefits


Responsibilities

As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing direction of operational activities delivered across the Suffolk Highways contract.

Your day to day will include:

  • Providing management of operational activities for reactive, cyclical, winter, street lighting and schemes related to capital maintenance and improvement works

  • Ensuring that works delivery is carried out to the required quality and in line with associated time frames

  • Ensure that work risks are mitigated, and commercial returns are realised, all in accordance with Suffolk Highways processes and procedures


Who are we looking for?

This role of Supervisor is great for you if you can:

  • Demonstrate operational experience in a similar role and hold a full driving licence

  • Show you are health and safety qualified - IOSH or Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)

  • Use Microsoft Office proficiently
