Key Responsibilities
We currently have a number of exciting opportunities for Pre-Pulling and Pre-Blowing teams to join our communications team who are working in partnership with Virgin Media.
As a Pre-Blowing/Pre- Pulling team it will be your job to pull in a cable or fibre from the cabinet on the street to the customers property, ready for our installation team to complete the install and connect the customer.
Working under the direction of your Team Manager bring the new cable or replace the existing cable within the network to the required standard.
Ensuring that all work is completed within a timely and professional manner and that professional relationship is always maintained with both internal and external customers.
Please be aware, due to the nature of this role, there will be a requirement for weekend work.
What do we need from you?
The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills, however you will need to be able to work independently, and use your own initiative, you will be required to have a full UK driving licence and you will need to be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
Due to geographical nature of the role you will need to live within an hour from the location you are applying for.
Experience preferred however, it is not necessary as we do have a full training programme if you are new to the industry and want to retrain, this will include your NRSWA ticket, BT accreditations and EUSR.
