Senior Project Manager

Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled *Senior Project Manager* who will be oversee the interrelationship of a project across "the big picture" and understand its dependency on other projects in the program.

Job Description:
Minimum 14+ years of relevant management experience with functional and technical aspects of IT infrastructure.

Experience with the development of project budget plan exercises (road map and business cases).

Knowledge and understanding of general computer controls, and IT process management (i.e., ITIL) including incident, problem, change and release management.

Strong understanding of the infrastructure-related activity.

Comfortable with ambiguity and have a strong ability to bring order and discipline to projects that engage many stakeholders and delivery partners.

Deep understanding of SDLCs including Waterfall and Agile methodologies

Proven ability to obtain results in a matrix environment

Experience and a good understanding of vendor management

Strong organization, planning, and program/project management skills

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications at all levels, facilitation and diplomacy skills

Demonstrated success handling initiatives of high complexity and risk

Preferred Skills/Qualification:
Life sciences industry experience would be desired

PMI/PMP or Scrum master Certification/ training

Understanding of IT Infrastructure landscape (AWS cloud, Storage, Networking, batch scheduling, window, data center migration)

For facilities projects Network/ AV/ intra-building projects, IT/cabling/and infrastructure
