We’re looking for an Electrician to join our Facilities Management Team based in Kent. Within this role working among a great team, responsible for performing all Electrical pre-planned maintenance and reactive work at two secondary schools.


Location: Kent

Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know


Responsibilities


As an Electrician, you’ll be working within the Facilities Management Team supporting them in various areas.


Your day to day will include:


  • Perform all Electrical /Building Fabric pre-planned maintenance and reactive activities in accordance with Kier quality management system including preparation for internal/external audits.
  • Carry out site work inspections for quality and compliance whilst ensuring Kier Health and Safety policies are adhered to at all times
  • Ensure, where necessary, sub-contractors are deployed, trained and fully capable of carrying out defined activities
  • Complete accurate records of work in either electronic form or paper as the job dictates

What are we looking for?


This role of Electrician is great for you if:


  • Holder of Full Drivers’ Licence and able to travel
  • Experience within a maintenance background preferably with a mechanical or electrical bias.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety and Statutory responsibilities
  • Organized approach, able to meet deadlines
